This Masterworks concert features Cedar Rapids native and Grammy-Award Winning composer, Michael Daugherty's "Reflections on the Mississippi," a delightful tuba concerto that will showcase Orchestra Iowa's very own Principal Tuba Blaine Cunningham. Also on the program for the evening is Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4.

Sam Hao Huang is the voice professor and also a judge member for International Vocal Competition. He has a Doctor of Arts degree from Stuttgart Conservatory of Music in Germany. In 2014, he was a visiting scholar at the University of Iowa School of Music.
