Elf The Musical
Based on the cherished 2003 New Line Cinema hit, Elf is the Broadway musical sure to leave you laughing this holiday season! When a young orphan crawls into Santa’s bag one Christmas Eve, he is transported to the North Pole and raised as an elf. When it becomes impossible to hide Buddy’s differences any longer, Buddy learns the truth and travels to New York City to find his birth father. But the world outside the North Pole is surprisingly cold for this cheerful believer, and Buddy is faced with a harsh reality when he finds out his father is on the Naughty List!

- Friday, September 30 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Callbacks if necessary, will take place at The Coralville Library, 1401 5th Street, Coralville:

Preparing for the Audition:
Please prepare 16–32 bars of a song of your choice that reflects the style of this musical. We are eager to hear you show off your voice and your ability to tell a story. You are welcome to sing from the musical. Bring sheet music and an accompanist will be provided.
You will be taught a very short dance sequence with a few other auditioners. No preparation necessary for that. Please wear clothing that you feel comfortable to move in.
To audition, you will need to complete two forms using the one link below. The first is an audition form, which gathers important information about each actor. The second form is a sign-up time for the audition you will attend. You will need to complete both forms before you can audition. We recommend filling out this form on a desktop or laptop computer.
- Please make sure that you have clicked “submit” on both forms. You may need to return to your audition form and submit it after signing up for an audition time.
- Please list all schedule conflicts on your audition form. We must have all conflicts at the time of audition. Think of everything that might interfere with rehearsals: vacations, family commitments, work or other obligations. Any conflicts that come up later or are not listed on the form will have to be negotiated with the director.
Tickets for this production will go on sale September 28, 2022 at Noon.
